I have made my decision months ago that I would vote for Obama. Granted it was after who I wanted dropped out. (John Edwards. The man had a great plan to attack poverty and bring change to the country.) But in a sense of fairness I decided I would listen to what the Republicans had to say. Tonight I watched the Republican National Convention and one thing they showed was absolutely terrible. They showed a clip of 9/11/01 and had the audacity to try and capitalize on that. What happened that day should not be used by anyone in that capacity. I listened to the speeches and I must say Obama seems to have a better idea of what he wants to do for this country. McCain was vague about the problems facing the country and his ideas on making a change for the country.
If you happened to miss the Convention I can sum it up for you. Maverick, 9/11, 9/11, POW, Vietnam, hero, Maverick, Change, Palin+Executive experience, Maverick, Washington, God Bless America. I sense a drinking game can be made from this.
